The West Texas Writing Project is sponsored by the Department of English, College of Liberal Arts, at the University of Texas at El Paso. The WTWP is committed to * Improving the teaching of writing and the use of writing to learn in El Paso's classrooms, K-16. * Improving literacy beyond the classroom through young writer's camps and family literacy prograqms in the community. * Providing leadership opportunities and recogition for El Paso teachers.
