Supreme Chancellor was a rank used in the first years of the New Republic. It was then changed in 15 ABY by Brenn Tantor to the title Supreme Chancellor of all the People and Democratic governments of the Galaxy. After Brenn's death, it was changed back to Supreme Chancellor of the New Galactic Republic. The last Chancellor was Cly Brethren.
