The Presidential Palace often known simply as the Palace is the home and office of the President of Saydney. Located in central Tasroco the Palace serves as the location of the Department of the President and Executive and is also a major tourist attraction. Built in 1822 to house the English govenor of Candarra, the Palace is an example of gothic arcitecture. Rising 4 stories high, it is surrounded on all sides by capital park. A large roadway known as the Esplanade runs from the front gate of the Palace to the Houses of parliament 500m away.
