Admiral of the Fleet Jonas Ingram Stryker was a legend among the people of the Twelve Colonies. It was inevitable that there would be an attempt to found a museum dedicated to the Colonial legend. The result was the founding of the Jonas I. Stryker Museum Foundation. Dedication to the life and memory of Admiral Stryker. The museum foundation is also dedicated to perpetuating the memory of the Colonial Defense Forces from the Cylon War in order that the sacrifices of those who contributed to the victory over the Cylons may never be forgotten.
