Horu was a married merchant, one of the most well known and wealthiest merchants in the Second City. After the Siege of the Second City Horu was rebuilding his shop when he realized his hands were full of blood. Horu disappeared after he realized he had killed three people in his shop with incredible violence, including one of his attendants, and his wife. The murders were investigated by Kitsuki Jakuei and Mirumoto Michi. Horu had fallen to P'an Ku's madness.
