Þrymr, aka Thrymr or Thrym was the king of the frost giants who stole Mjolnir, Thor's hammer, to extort the gods to make his wife Freya. Heimdall, Loki and Thor thwarted his plan and the god of thunder killed Thrym and all his relatives at the wedding reception.
