Peter Andrew Beardsley MBE was born on 18 January 1961, in Newcastle upon Tyne. He is an English former footballer of the 1980s and 1990s, who once set a record transfer fee. Beardo represented his country 59 times between 1986 and 1996, once as captain. He played for Fulham whilest on loan from Newcastle in 1998.
