Cabopatch refers to a mixture of prosthetic adhesive thickened with Cabosil. It creates a paste that is safe to apply to the skin and dries securely. Cabopatch is frequently used for evenly blending hard edges on prosthetic appliances when applied to the skin, and for patching defects, seam lines, and pour holes on various prosthetics. Due to its usefulness it is also sometimes referred to as Bondo, but this can often lead to confusion as Bondo is the trade name of a thickened polyether resin that is also frequenly used in effects work.
