Harland Wilson was a mage who, when using the spell Blink, accidentally got inserted into a statue of General Turalyon. Magma from Ironforge was used to remove him, and he emerged unharmed, but the statue was destroyed, much to the horror of nearby school children. His accident is chronicled in the book Blinking Rules & Regulations.
