Fred and Mary Vance decide to settle out in the country. Fred had been wrongly convicted of cattle rustling, and nobody in town wants them as neighbors. The Pete Madden Gang kidnap the banker's son, in retaliation for their leader's capture. Fred helps the Lone Ranger and Tonto capture the gang, and the town has a change of heart.
