Hot Spot's first priority is others; he likes to be helpful, and will happily put himself in danger to get others out of it. He lives in Crystal City and works with the Search and Rescue team, but as time goes by he has more thoughts about leaving to join the Autobots. He doesn't think he's anything special, just a regular guy trying to do the best he can with the tools at his disposal. He might think differently if he knew how much of his own history he's missing.
