Varek Rayth was the adopted sister of Andraste. He and Geist Weiss killed Azrael at Hell's Gates while hunting for a Shard, which Varek tamed. Varek became a Sith Lord soon after, donning the name Darth Vires. He was vital to the New Sith Imperium war effort, participating personally in the Attack on The Will of the Force and Battle of Empress Teta. When Darth Exodeus and Andraste went missing, a void was left in the New Sith Imperium's throne, which Varek helped Tyrn Lightell take. His personal flagship was Death's Embrace.
