Izanami is a strong and deadly dōjutsu that is activated through the Kisōgan. It causes the user's chakra to become putrid and demonic, and it almost immediately starts to leak out into the open. From there on, everything around the user becomes corrupted and starts to wither away, progressing at a moderately slow pace. Despite the destructive power it has to everything and everyone around them, it also causes the user to go through tremendous pain due to the gradual decaying process. The longer the jutsu is in effect, the more his/her body will undergo necrosis.
