Sophie Ronson is, or rather was, Kyra Blaine's bridesmaid in "A Rose for Everafter. She introduced Kyra to Greg Murphy, and in repayment, though no longer an active part of their circle, was invited to the wedding. Unfortunately, she was experiencing financial difficulties, and asked around to see if anyone could lend her the necessary cash, which Beckett estimated as at least $3000 (dress included). Her problems came to the ears of Greg's Uncle Teddy, who offered to bankroll her, in return for her assistance in breaking up the happy couple. Teddy was the executor of Greg's estate until he married, and was skimming massively, a fact which would come to light once the younger man took control of his own money.
