Magic spirit only appears in the Elona+ version of Elona. Magic spirits are low level caster NPCs that spawns indifferent to the player, unless specific situations dictate otherwise. Its sprite depends on its gender. It casts magic dart. It can eventually vanish inexplicably similar to a Bell. You can interact with it to remand it, which makes it disappear. It has a chance to drop the Blue Spirit.
