The Solstice SF is a variant of the Solstice VE3, the default carbine for the Vanu Sovereignty. The Solstice SF provides slightly more versatility over the Solstice VE3 with its multiple firing modes and additional attachments. As a trade-off to its versatility, it is outmatched in terms of rate of fire and reload speed. Like any standard carbine, the Solstice can be easily overpowered by Shotguns in close range, Assault Rifles and Light Machine Guns in medium range, and Sniper Rifles at long range. Your best chance for survival is to be agile and try to bait or flank an enemy out of their situational advantage.
