William Bennett (7 April 1873 – 4 November 1937) was a Labour Party politician. Born in Somerset and educated at Bath Grammar School, he was elected member of parliament for Battersea South at a by-election in February 1929. This was his fourth attempt to win a parliamentary seat, and he held the seat when a general election was held in May of the same year. He was unseated at the next general election in 1931 and although he tried to return to the House of Commons on three occasions he was unsuccessful.
