Burt James Ray Mansfield (January 21, 1941 – November 3, 1996), nicknamed "Ranger," was an American football center in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers. Mansfield grew up in Kennewick, Washington and attended Kennewick High School. He played college football at the University of Washington from 1960 to 1962. In 1961 he was a member of the Huskies team that won the Rose Bowl 17-7 against the University of Minnesota. In 1962 he participated in the East-West Shrine Game. He is a member of the UW Athletic Hall of Fame. He was drafted in the 1963 NFL Draft by the Eagles and played for them for one season.
