When Roy Cropper decided he wanted to make amends with Hayley's son Christian Gatley, Roy went to Sound Garden, Christian's place of work, in order to speak with him. Roy was informed by the Assistant that Christian no longer worked at the shop. As Roy tried to establish where he could find him, the assistant explained that Christian had telephoned in one day and said that he was finishing but didn't give a reason as to why - although it was the day after "some woman" had come into the shop and beaten him up. When Roy asked the assistant if he could describe the woman, he instinctively knew it was Becky Granger.
