It was founded in 2002, utilizing former a Massey Ferguson factory and designs and with previous association with the Marani brand. A lawsuit from AGCO, Massey Ferguson's parent company, brought about design changes. It was founded by Sergio Taselli as a part of Materfer, which is a coach and railcar builder that traces its roots back to Fiat Concord in Argentina.
