[Source] The HR-0C Slingshot slug railgun was a type of slug rail gun produced by Balmorran Arms during the Galactic War between the Republic and the Sith Empire. A relatively simple rail gun, the Slingshot had incredible range and fired metal projectiles that partially bypassed a target's shield, dealing severe damage to enemy starfighters.
