|} Porrovallia, abbreviated in trade journals Pvla, is an intergeneric hybrid between the orchid genera Porroglossum and Masdevallia. The Porrovallia cross was first made by Gerardus Staal who crossed Masdevallia hirtzii and Porroglossum muscosum to create Porrovallia Phil Jesup, which was registered by Peninsula Orchids in 1993.
