Test subject twenty nine was a protoss/zerg hybrid, successfully created by Samir Duran's scientists. Zeratul discovered it in a stasis cell on a dark moon, after which Duran appeared before him to discuss the creature. Zeratul, considering it an abomination, destroyed it.
