The Gate of Bronze was the Third Gate of Gondolin. It was a larger Gate than the Gate of Stone, and had a twofold door in the wall that supported the gate, on which shields and plates of bronze were hung. The plates and shields had many intricate designs wrought into them. Upon the wall there were three towers coated in shining copper.
