The Third Edition tour was the last tour ever performed by the DeMoin Metal band SlipKnoT in their twenty-two year history together. The tour began in 67 ABY shortly before the release of their third album, Third Edition and lasted until 69 ABY. Although originally planned to last only a year, the tour was extended three fold due to massively popular demand by the bands fans. The band, fully aware that it was common knowledge amongst SlipKnoT's fan base that the tour was the bands last, did their best to incite mini-riots at every concert they performed at; and more often than not they succeeded.
