Jul was a male Gen'Dai that joined the fight against the Sith during the conflict after the Grand Sith Purge. He was known as the only non-Jedi to fight the vicious Darth Cognitum, and live. He became known as a hero of the republic and was adulated from all corners of the Galaxy after he defeated Darth Cognitum on Hoth.
