There were five ramped cobblestone trade streets in the district, worn to a polished mosaic, which continued on through Marsh district. The Trench was a neighbourhood slum in the Gadrobi district and The Scrap Markets of Darujhistan were located in the district. Outside the walls, between Two-Ox Gate and the Maiten River Bridge, was a shantytown, formed out of shacks and huts along winding dirt streets.
