Gearna Eye (ギアーナ・アイ Gearna Eye?) is the mini-boss in Sword Man's stage in Mega Man 8. Its weakness is the red gem it reveals when its face is open, but it also what it uses to shoot flames. Also, when it is near defeat, it summons a hammer (Kao ga Mehda) that smashes the bridge, leaving only the bobbing platforms for Mega Man to stand on. Sometimes it calls Kao ga Mehda to smash where Mega Man last stood. It is recommended to use either Flash Bomb or Water Balloon, as those weapons are its primary weakness.
