Israel, officially the Kingdom of Israel (ממלכת ישראל, Mamlekhet Israel), is a country in Western Asia, situated at the southestern shore of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a member state of the military and economic union Nordreich. It contains geographically diverse features within its relatively small area. Israel’s financial centre and capital is Tel Aviv, while Jerusalem is the country’s centre of government.
