"This One's for You" peaked at number twenty-nine on the Billboard Hot 100, and it was Manilow's fifth number one on the Easy Listening chart, reaching the top position for one week in November 1976. "This One's for You" was followed by the single, "Weekend in New England". The song was covered by Teddy Pendergrass for his 1982 album, "This One's For You."
