Members of the Supreme Federal Congress are known as "Members of the Supreme Federal Congress". All members are elected to their offices for a five-year period, which is renewable indefinitely. However, all members are subject to the pending approval of the Bureau of Merit and Advancement, which publishes exams for the members of the legislature to fill out every five years to test their political acumen and determine whether or not they are fit to serve another term in Congress. All elections for the position are held by citizens of Xyon who have completed voting exams to qualify to take part in the elections as both a voter and a candidate for the position. However, first-time voters must wait for a five-year grace period before they are permitted to take part as a candidate.
