Gabriel Martinez became the first President of Cobura from the Coburan Socialist Party in 3390. He also served as a Member of Parliament between 3386 and the former year. Among his achievements are the nationalisation of electricity, the creation of over ten thousand free homes for the poor, and the reduction, and eventually destruction, of the national deficit.
