Shormitors (derived from the word Shorm) are tail blade carvings similar to heiroglyphs made by Andalites in ancient times. The rocky outcroppings on the shores of Elupera on the Andalite homeworld are known for their shormitors. According to Ax, these shormitors expressed that the early tail-fighting masters spent a lifetime trying to cultivate and listen to instinct in their craft.
