Chochokan is the chief god of the Tsurani religion, the Good God, Healer and Bringer of Rest. Chochokan is celebrated at midsummer when needra are slaughtered and the fields are blessed. The priests burn paper effigies to symbolize sacrifice for bountiful harvests. Priests of Chochokan might enter the sacred grove of a family when consecrating the grove or the gardener who tended the shrubs and flowers, or to wed a couple. Tomachaca is a servant to Chochokan.
