Inversion's first (and only) appearance was in Wonder Woman #247 (Sep 1978). A scientist working to develop his own matter transporter is horribly altered in a lab accident that twists his atoms and disfigures him to put his internal organs on the outside of his body. Driven completely mad by the accident, he captures Wonder Woman in an attempt to discover the secrets of the JLA's transporter for the purpose of turning the entire world inside-out!
