The Terminus-class Gunboat is a specialised corvette used for planetary defence. The ship is designed to preform many of the roles of the Hermes-class corvette under much more dangerous circumstances. As such, its port and starboard shuttle bays have been replaced by archer pods and internal magazines for the extra gun turrets placed on the deck and keel of the shuttle bays. Also housed are additional power units to keep this guns going, without drawing upon the main reactor. The ship has heavier armour than its cousin and in response, has a more powerful reactor and engines, so it doesn't lose as much speed on the Hermes.
