Patchwork Heroes is a now-completed fantasy Sprite Comic in three acts, made mainly with Final Fantasy VI sprites, modified heavily to the point of almost being original works. The story begins when a magus named Kasaii pays a visit to his old half-yeti friend Friv, which is interrupted when they find a mysterious amnesiac girl in the snow. A journey to help her rediscover her past unfolds into something bigger than any of them could ever have imagined... It can be read in its entirety here.
