To do that, the player must touch one of the squares in the bottom picture. The square and the squares that are next to it are flipped and change their image and colour, making a move. The player must match the 2 pictures in a certain number of moves (the Yoshi statue to the left says the number of moves left), otherwise the player loses a life. the Yoshi statue to the right says the number of lives left, the player starts with 3 lives. If the player solves the puzzle, a harder puzzle appears, which may be larger and take more turns to complete. The player must try to solve as many puzzles as possible before losing all lives.
