Kakita Haturo was a duelist of the Crane Clan who in 1199 attended Imperial winter court at Toshi Ranbo. A dispute of his clan with the Imperials was settled in a duel. In Judgement's Retreat, Haturo conceded defeat to Seppun Kyosuta.
