The Quintessence of Despair is the largest and most powerful of the sha haunting the town of Zhu's Watch[[:File:|[, ]]] in the Krasarang Wilds. It emerges from Yi-Mo Longbrow in a desperate bid to thwart the efforts of Ken-Ken in cleansing the town, and also explains why Yi-Mo was the most despondent (and suicidal) of the inhabitants.
