The Regimental Officer Corps is the military force of the American Wizarding Confederation. Students who are members of the Junior Regimental Officer Corps may join the ROC upon graduating, though not all do. Abraham Thorn is known to have been an ROC officer, before he became a member of the Wizards' Congress. Mary Shirtliffe serves as a Witch-Colonel in the Central Territory Regiment of the Corps, and is the commanding officer of the Charmbridge Academy's J-ROC.
