Michael Ryan (born March 26, 1973) is a developer of video games, and co-founder of Fat Frog Studios. In 1995, he joined Looking Glass Studios as a quality assurance tester for Flight Unlimited, a flight simulator for DOS. After a few years working as a technical support representative, Michael moved over to the design team and worked as a level designer on Thief: The Dark Project, the first title in the Thief Series. He later joined the design team of System Shock 2, which was co-developed by Looking Glass Studios and Irrational Games, and published by Electronic Arts in 1999.
