Bill & Ted's Excellent Comic Book was a comic series in the Bill and Ted franchise that ran for 12 issues from December 1991 to November 1992. * Comic Book Adaptation: Marvel Comics did one of these for the second movie, which was followed by its own ongoing title, "Bill and Ted's Excellent Comic Book". They were written and drawn by Evan Dorkin; the comic ran for twelve issues and was nominated for an Eisner Award. * The entire run (except for issue #8) was finally collected in two trade paperbacks in 2005. * Death by Adaptation: De Nomolos in the Marvel Comics adaptation. This is because the comic was based off an early draft of the script that was rewritten before they started filming. * Death Takes a Holiday: Issue #2 of the comic is "Death Takes a Most Heinous Holiday"
