Iron Stairs are building-blocks cut into 6 steps on the top-side looking like rusty iron. Usually placed as Stairs they will smooth the player-character's movement up and down gradients so no jumping is needed. However Stair-blocks can also be rotated and used as chamfers at corners or for decoration. By crafting/taking Iron Stairs for the first time, the recipe for Diamond Stairs will be unlocked.
