The Zakhaev Spaceport Massacre was an attack on the Zakhaev Galactic Spaceport on the world of Vulpter in 22 BBY by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, who staged the attack to look like a Galactic Republic attack in hopes of turning the Vulpter government and the entire Vacton System to join the CIS. The mission was a failure since the Separatists didn't count on the Vulpter Security Force to make an appearance. They captured a terrorist alive and after questioning, determined he was part of the CIS, and warned the Republic. Many civilians were killed during the attack, and the Spaceport was heavily damaged.
