Joey-021, or Joseph Edward Avlis is a Spartan that fought in the Human-Covenant War. He is also childhood friends with Spartan Melina-132! His mother, Ashley Rose Avlis was a 5th and 7th Grade teacher and later went on to study Neuroethology. She can also wield a sword and throw knifes! Joey's dad, Lucas Myers Avlis served in the Military for 7 years and was an expert Marksman. He taught Joey how to Snipe on his sixth Birthday and bought him his own gun when he was seven, 4 months before he was "picked up" by Catherine Halsey.
