Karan Adabwe was a female member of Starfleet in the 24th century. In the year 2376, Adabwe served on Deep Space 9 as an engineer. In April of that year, Adabwe was injured when the station was attacked by a group of Jem'Hadar. Adabwe received burns from a plasma leak and was then frozen in a hull breach. Adabwe miraculously survived initially, but her injuries were ultimately fatal. Adabwe lived out her final hours in the ICU ward in the infirmary in the company of her betrothed and her best friend.
