The Wildmen Axe Throwers are Isengard's early-game ranged units (besides level 2 Scouts). They come from the sub-faction that is recruitable through the Clan Steading built on settlements. Though they are weaker than Uruk Crossbowmen, they can continue to be useful in later stages of the game due to their advantages against buildings.
