Rebecca Callard (born 1976 in Dewsbury, Yorkshire) appeared on Coronation Street as Ruth Walsh in August and September 2011. Callard was previously offered the role of Casey Carswell in 2006, but she declined because she needed to look after her newborn baby and the role went to Zoë Henry. Her other credits include Screen Two, All Creatures Great and Small, Children's Ward, The Borrowers, Peak Practice, Birds of a Feather, September Song, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, Band of Gold, The Grand, Casualty, Sunburn, Doc Martin and Blackout.
