Night Squadron was one of the elite squadrons of the Sith Enclave. Originally, the squadron used E-Wings, but after the formation of the Sith Enclave, they switched over to the TIE Hunter. Every pilot in the Squadron knew the capabilities of their craft by heart and flew more on instinct than instruments. This gave them a reputation of being Force-sensitive, despite the lack of proof of the hypothesis. The squadron had a healthy rivalry with Dagger Squadron.
